Hi everyone!
I’m a new user of the Oxford Dictionary of English app and I’m really enjoying how easy it is to look up meanings and get pronunciation examples. However, I’ve noticed that some of the newer slang and music-related terms that come from online rhythm games (especially Friday Night Funkin’ or FNF) aren’t included yet.
For example, when I searched for words like “sprunked,” “bopeebo,” “remix battle,” or even phrases like “hit the note streak” and “funkin’ vibe,” the dictionary couldn’t find any results. I know these might sound niche, but the FNF community is huge now — and many of these expressions have spread into social media and fan art culture far beyond the game itself.
It would be awesome if future updates could include:

Popular FNF slang and song titles that have entered general online English use.

Short explanations of how these words are used in gaming, music, or meme contexts.

Maybe even examples showing how people use them in sentences, like:

Quote:“That beat was so funky, it felt straight out of FNF!”

[*]Adding more modern, pop-culture-linked expressions could make the dictionary even more relevant for younger users or English learners who spend time online and encounter these terms regularly.
Just a suggestion from a gamer who loves words! 😄
Thanks for reading, and I’d love to hear if anyone else has noticed this or wants to see the same feature.

Hi everyone!

I just moved to Vancouver and began looking for work. But I don't know if my resume is good enough for the Canadian market. I need to ensure it showcases my experience and skills properly.

Would professional resume services be a good choice? Has anyone on this board used one after immigrating to Canada? Did it help? Let's discuss!

Hello. Is there no update to this feature request that was previously posted in the iOS section of the forum?

My request is the same though specifically for the Android system.

The request posted in the iOS section for syncing favorites in the Oxford dictionary of English is a good one and was posted quite a few months ago. Though I am requesting this for the Android system.

Since no post has been added to state that there is an update to that request posted in that other section of the forum, most developers would implement a feature request with a little more speed into their products for both upgrades and new feature requests to ensure that the product is kept up to date.

Would you please ensure that this feature request of syncing favorites between devices on the same account for the Oxford dictionary is brought to the attention of the developer?

I have been using the Oxford dictionary for quite a few years now on Android and this feature request for syncing favorites is a tremendously good idea. Both for Android and iOS.

Please implement this sooner rather than continue to delaying it. Please do not delay bringing this to the attention of the developer. Or ask him for an update to this featur e request
